In case of an emergency your first steps should be to protect you and your family from harm. Once their safety is secured and if your safety will not be jeopardized, you should take appropriate steps to correct or lesson the potential damaging effects of the emergency.
Examples and Definitions of an Emergency
☐ Complete loss of heat during extreme cold weather months or complete loss of air conditioning during extreme hot weather months.

☐ Total stoppage of plumbing drain line.
A failure of the drain line components (faulty workmanship/materials) within the warranty period will be corrected.
However, if the clog is the result of a homeowner’s action and consequently leads to damage of the home, damage is not covered by the warranty and any fee from the plumbing contractor will be the responsibility of the homeowner.

☐ Roof Leak
Look for the source of the roof leak immediately, however use tremendous caution while doing so.
Roofing sub-contractors cannot repair any leak during inclement weather. The homeowner should attempt to minimize damage caused by roof leak before roofing contractor can repair the roof leak.

☐ Plumbing Leak
FIRST TURN OFF the water supply to that fixture or plumbing component
at the “Mana-Bloc” Plumbing Control Panel.
You can also turn the water off at the water meter located in the front yard. A failure of the water line components (faulty workmanship / materials) within the warranty period will be corrected. However, if the leak is the result of a homeowner’s action, damage is not covered by the warranty and any fee from the plumbing contractor will be the responsibility of the homeowner.

☐ Gas Leak
If there is an apparent natural gas leak evacuate your home immediately and contact the appropriate gas service provider.
