Shoemaker Homes has been building homes in the Metro Jackson area for the past 35 years.  Hollis Shoemaker started the business in 1971 and was joined by his son, Scott, in 1998.  Scott has succeeded his father as the builder and President of Shoemaker Homes.
     Hollis is past president of the Home Builders Association of Jackson and the Home Builders Association of Mississippi.  He is a lifetime director of the National Association of Home Builders and was named "Builder of the Year" in 1997 and 1998.  Hollis is also a member of the Home Builders Association of Mississippi Hall of Fame.
    Scott grew up in the homebuilding industry and is President of Shoemaker Homes.  Scott has served in several leadership positions with the Home Builders Association of Jackson including the office of President.  He is currently Vice President of the Home Builders Association of Mississippi.  In 2007 Scott was named "Builder of the Year" by the Home Builders Association of Jackson as well as the Home Builders Association of Mississippi.
     Shoemaker Homes currently is building throughout Madison and Rankin counties.  Our homes can be found in subdivisions such as Ridgefield, the award winning Ashbrooke community, Farmington Station, Live Oaks Place and StillHouse Creek.  Shoemaker Homes has received a "Best of Mississippi" Award in 2005 and 2007 and annually participates in the Home Builders Association of Jackson's "Parade of Homes". Thousands of families have experienced the excitement, convenience and comfort of owning a Shoemaker home and the value of its resale.
